maids went into my room and looked through all of my belongs. stole money i had hidden in my purse. the staff was not a lot of help. they say they need to do an investigation but did not accommodate me for any troubles . do not stay here. they also never gave us a tour of the property or helped us with any of our questions directly. we had to beg for bottled of water.

Service at Lobby bar was great! Service in the buffet, dinning area, restaurants was great also. Servers really did a great job cleaning up and serving water, coffee and drinks. Restaurant food was great, Steak house was awesome. Spent most of the time at the beach as the pool needed to be maintained during the day, not just at night (ie. food floating in pool, wet napkins and food on the pool deck) The check in was not good. Lots of people behind the desk but really nobody moving the people to get them actually checked in. There was a solid 25 minutes of no movement of people with a huge line up but at least 10 people behind the front desk that would work on a computer for a few minutes, then disappear to rooms behind. Management should have been dealing with whatever the issue was or at a minimum communicating to the 60 people waiting to check in what was going on. Overall a good experience

We stayed at the Catalonia Punta Cana, we loved it, rooms very comfortable, cleaning lady very nice, bartenders very nice and enthusiastic, food was very good, drinks were great too....We've been in multiple resorts in Punta Cana and Bavaro, this one was a great choice!

well, was terrible in overall... not service at all, the worse costumer services ever... no food no drink, no room services, they don't clean the rooms either change towels. its dirty in the most areas in the hotel, and the rooms smells bad, not service at pool or beach we have to go to the bars make a long line to order not words to describe this experience

Retain the crown as the worst hotel in punta cana, first an hour line to do check-in, I dehydrated and can't get a drink ,no bracelet no drinks, nobody helped with the bags no maps, one hour line for checking and when we finally got into the room it was flooded as the titanic got moved to another room and got electric shock, you heard that right electric shock, no maintenance no even a 20 pesos lamp socket, later we decided to go to snack and got treated as slaves, the person in charge Caroline, she needs to be fired I reported everything and nobody called back, later we went to buffet and no dishes to eat, later dirty dishes show up, food is the same every day, and you have to wait long lines to eat and get a drink, I'm not.coming back
