Checked into four different rooms. The first three rooms had a bad case of mold and bedbugs. The fourth room was cleaner but was very damp. My cash and passport when I departed were both damp from my stay.

First time in punta Cana and I will definitely come back. The food at the resort was good especially the steak house restaurant was our favorite. The beach was amazing (besides the local vendors trying to make money) and if u need shade there are plenty of spots to sit under the palm trees. The servers on the beach were great and if you give a tip they will always come and make sure your drink isn’t empty. We did the saona island excursion which if you decide to go expect to be gone for 12-13 hours! We had to take a 2 hr bus ride then a few different boats to get to the island. They did make a stop at a natural pool area which was amazing but we were only there for 30 minutes. When we finally got to saona island it was crowded and the buffet wasn’t that great. They say it’s open bar on the boat and island but only offer rum and coke (on the island they offered beer too). It was a great experience but just keep in mind you spend a lot of time commuting then on the island (I think we stayed on the island for less then 2 hrs and that included eating). Last thing don’t leave without trying a shot of mamajuana!!

Riu Macao In Punta Cana was amazing I loved the different food options. Riu also has 4 different resorts you can walk to and eat and drink at the restaurants on other resorts in Punta Cana. Beautiful view close to the beach also they have swim up bars on the resorts.I will definitely be back to visit again soon.

I love all the activities. My husband and I enjoyed our stayed there. Big thanks to the entertainment team: Willie, Eliazar, Josefina, George and Oni. Our ac stopped working after our first day and after going twice to the lobby is when they told us oh our supervisor is switching y’all’s room… we had to move all of our stuff at 10 pm, not only that a day after both keys were deactivated and we had to go to the lobby again. they said room service is open 24 hours but on the app it clearly says they open and close at a specific time, also if you try to call the lobby or any numbers it doesn’t let you and the phone number apparently available to call is for the club not the hotel.
