1. The property, although beautiful in design needs serious attention. Weathered paint, broken and/or very much worn equipment, signage, etc that have gone way too long with apparent little to no upkeep or pride in appearance.
2. We were in the “upgraded” section of the property, the “Castle”, in a swim out suite of a private pool. The pool was disgusting, dirty and had copies amounts of algae and visible debris and slime all over the bottom and sides. I have seen better pools in apartment complexes.
3. Although the resort is “All Inclusive”, with a huge selling point about “24 hour room service”, it wasn’t until we arrived that the much bragged about room service came with a $10 delivery charge.
4. We were turned away from the restaurant we were most interested in because it was closed for a private party.
5. Sanctuary Town, advertised as a really chic row of restaurants included in the all inclusive package was closed 3 of the 4 nights we were there.
Avoid this resort… not worth it. Save your money and go elsewhere.
