I really like the property rooms are big and petty clean. What i didnt like was Front deak put me in a room that seemed to be an off market room the room smelled very old like mildew and was facing a construction site. Check inn took a long time as well. Some of the staff members have a bad attitude especially by the pool area. But overall after the fact i enjoyed my self.

Be cautious about the glowing reviews. We just returned from a family trip and definitely won’t be going back. The service was quite disappointing, and the staff seemed unfriendly and unmotivated. The pool closes at 6 PM, and the drink service there is incredibly slow. It’s a bit faster if you go to the swim up bar or the bar behind the swim up. Make sure you ask for more than one drink at a time or ask them to fill your tumbler. The rooms are in need of updates and a thorough cleaning. We had to change our room because it was unclean, with brown water coming from the jacuzzi and a malfunctioning refrigerator. When we reported it to the lady at the front desk, she rudely said this can be fixed by the maintenance team and did not want to switch us to a new room. The specialty restaurants didn’t impress us either; you’ll find better meals at the buffets, but be prepared for a lack of warmth from the staff. Additionally, you’re not allowed to take food from the restaurants to enjoy by the pool or beach. It’s hard to tell if the staff is overworked or just weary of tourists, because their poor customer service certainly reflects something is going on. The Coco club is fun and it’s the only place where the bartenders were friendly and outgoing. The sports bar is also a good hang but be prepared for the rude unfriendly bartenders. Lastly, remember to request bellhop assistance an hour in advance, as checkout is chaotic, and you’ll end up waiting a long time for your luggage.

Overall this resort is okay. Definitely needs improvement. A few people from my group had problems with their rooms in regard to cleanliness and the tv or a/c not working and one person in my group had to change rooms because the water coming out of their jacuzzi was brown. Food is ok. My husband ordered a pizza from room service and ended up getting really sick after eating it. I do have to say Junior, Felicia and the rest of the entertainment team were very nice and Laider and the other bartender I think his name was Eric at the pool swim up bar were awesome and attentive they both made great drinks! With that being said, I will not be returning to this resort as there are definitely way better all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana that you can go to. I highly suggest looking at other resorts that will be a better bang for your buck.

The resort is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. I wasn't impressed by our butler, Dario. He was more attentive to others in our group than us. The food was terrible.

Didn’t appreciate that after arriving to the room and wanting to use the jacuzzi to relax, it wasn’t working I called the front desk and they immediately send maintenance only for him to be there almost an hour trying to fix something he wasn’t able to fix, at that time I told him to just fix in the morning since we were gonna be gone most of the day, he promised he would get it fix! Well come 4pm the next day when we arrived back at the room come to find out no one had came to even fix it, had to call front desk again to complain told me they would send someone, so we left to the beach and still once we came back no one had come, at that time finally someone arrived and finally after several hours while again being in the room they fixed it. following day decided to go water rafting on the beach and while come down the wooden steps from the platform my foot went into a cracked broken board causing my toe to bend in between the board and me falling face first on the sand, after most workers coming to my aid, come to find out that this was reported to the hotel weeks before and no one did anything about it! big neglect on there part because someone almost fell the day before as well and yet there were no signs or cones to alert people! so the rest of my day was miserable and in pain! so in overall worse experience ever after spending so much money on a 5 start resort

Make sure to look into other options and skip this resort. We traveled with a group of 20 family members, and everyone shared the same opinion. The staff was not welcoming, the service is slow and those providing service look annoyed, the rooms were not clean or the room fixtures were broken, and the specialty restaurants were disappointing. It’s better to invest your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Let me start by saying the resort should be more of a 3 star hotel. Having the workers walk around and beg for 5 star reviews cause if not they will be fired is not right. They hover around you to see what you’re inputting. Food is your typical American burger and fries. The staff constantly asking for tips can get annoying so be ready. Beach is beautiful- service is good - room are ok Now for DR in general they take advantage of the tourism be mindful that they will charge crazy amount for things like pictures 100 USD or even sunscreen $35

This was our 2nd trip to Majestic, it's a beautiful property and the staff is great! Our butler, Arling was awesome!
