It was fine, just that. It came off very showy and luxurious, but there was little quality to back it. The fine dining was mediocre with the buffet providing the best food on site. The drinks were very weak and very, very low quality. The facilities were nice and clean, and the private beach and pool were quite nice. Just disappointed by the "all-inclusive" portion of the experience.

My finance has a bacterial infection and is in the emergency room after leaving the resort . The medical bill will cost $2800 Do we have any recourse? I also have some stomach problems but I can not afford to see a doctor at this time .

This resort was just ok. If you don’t know any Spanish, you will have a hard time with communicating. The staff around the resort ( bartenders, waiters, room cleaners) did not know any English. Ordering food and drinks were a bit difficult if you were asking for something that’s considered Unique. Also the liquor choices were horrible ( and I don’t have a problem drinking rail) but they didn’t have any variety of liquor. The only liquor brand they had was Classico. I attempted to order a gin dirty martini in their VIP lounge and was served something twice that wasn’t gin. Then when they showed me the bottle, it said martini on it and it was Classico brand. I then pointed out the gin they had behind the counter and the bartender just stared with confusion because we barely understood each other to began with. The food was horrible! They didn’t have a big selection for the size of the resort. Many resorts will have a mixture of local cuisine and Americanized food, but this resort only offered local cuisine. The restaurants on the premises were bad too except for the steak house. The hibachi was only seasoned with soy sauce which made it super salty and the rice was crunchy. The resort seems like it’s more for the locals than it is for tourist. I love living other peoples cultures, but usually resorts are more bilingual for their guest. Also bring lots of cash! I wasn’t expecting to need any as I’ve never needed more than a debit/credit card in other countries.

The hotel isn’t a five star hotel; however, the bathrooms shouldn’t have mold around the edges. There was a bad smell coming from the sink and shower drains when I turn on the water. Not the best when trying to brush your teeth or bath. The swim up pool wasn’t clean, we didn’t get to enjoy it. The entertainment can use a boost as well, everything else was okay. Not the best but not the worst.

Limited dining, not much of choices and wasn’t even taste good. Place smells like paint because they are still under renovation. One of lady from front desk was not nice. Only of few staffs were greeting. It will be my first and last visit.

I booked a junior luxury ocean view room and they gave me a junior luxury room. I told them I paid for an oceanview room and initially refused to change the room. I showed them pictures from the Expedia site the differences between the two room. I spoke to three different people and they were unwilling to change the room. Only after telling them I will pay only for the room I’m in and they need to issue me a refund for the difference in the room, then they changed the room the next day. I told them I paid for this trip since February and if the room I paid for was not available they needed to upgrade me not downgrade me
