Public Transport Victoria operates an extensive public transit network that can get you anywhere you need to go within the city, and a free City Circle tram will take you around the central business district.

While many cities have a neighborhood that is home to most of the nightlife venues, Melbourne is just the opposite. The best bars and clubs are located down alleyways and are often unmarked or have very little signage.
