Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Our daughter had her personal blanket taken by housekeeping while making the room up in morning, staff couldn't locate it but said they would post to us if it is found. This was the only negative for us.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room overlooked Flagstaff Gardens which was lovely. Convenient for city shopping and Queen Victoria Market. Corridors smelt a bit damp but rooms were comfortable except for worn bath towel which had holes in. Breakfast was adequate but some hot items were cool when we went for breakfast at 8.30. Dinner in restaurant was great and very tasty. Drinks voucher came in handy and house wine more than nice.

The property was well maintained and the room was clean and well spaced. The only downside to this booking was that I had requested a surprise to be in our room on arrival and it was not. I had to remind reception of my request and they attended to it after we had stepped out for drinks in the evening upon arrival. Other than that extremely courteous staff great breakfast buffet and very conveniently located property.

It was walkable to cafes and the city centre for shopping. The room and staff were very good. The only negative was there was no pool although there was a spa on the roif top but it was in a room with lots of glass which would be ok in winter but it was 36 degrees when we stayed and the room was stifling hor so not an option .
