Had a wonderful time staying at The Langham Melbourne. Right when you get to the front door you're greeted by the staff. Who know your name and then bring your bags to your room. Id never experienced that before. Then you walk in and see a beautiul fountain. The gym was also great and the room had a large tv and big bar selection. A great place to stay in Melbourne Southbank!

It's a nice hotel, located in a busy, modern part of the central business district. It's costly. They have a bottle of water next to the room's coffee maker. If you use some of it to make coffee, that's $12.00. For water, not wine. What I disliked about my room: bath towels are the size of a blanket on a twin bed (Who decided on that?) ... and the single covering on the bed is a white duvet ... no sheets. If you burn up under that much insulation, you might want to try sleeping under one of the bath towels.

The location was excellent, overlooking the Yarra. I could walk along the Yarra to my conference and to transport as needed. Beautiful flowers greeted you at the entrance and staff were excellent. The pool area was clean and had a great view over the city. I look forward to my next stay at the Langham in Melbourne. Thank you.

As a Gold member we received nothing only to be put in a room where we could hear the lifts thru the wall. We have stayed at The Langham times in suits, and they are fantastic. As a Gold VIP stay somewhere else for less in the CBD to get rewarded

**A Luxurious Stay with a Minor Hiccup** Our stay at the Langham Melbourne was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly accommodating, from the early check-in to the room switch due to construction noise. The VIP 35 credit was a lovely touch, and the complimentary breakfast offered when we encountered a minor issue with our room key was a great gesture. All staff members were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The service was top-notch. The only minor feedback is regarding the transparency of the billing process. While we couldn’t view the invoice at checkout, we later discovered a line item we hadn’t used. This required some additional follow-up, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, our experience at the Langham Melbourne was fantastic, and we highly recommend it for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

When I arrived, the front desk staff were very rude, with bad attitudes and unfriendly expressions. On top of that, they made me wait a long time and didn’t explain what my reservation included. They also didn’t give me a map of the place or offer information about the types of restaurants available at the hotel. Additionally, valet parking was extremely expensive, and they didn’t offer general parking for guests, which was very inconvenient because I arrived with my car and was forced to pay for valet parking, which was almost the same price as the room per night. The hotel looked very luxurious but felt old, and the staff was neither friendly nor helpful. Honestly, I did not like this place at all.
