There are tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance as well. There’s also a free shuttle right across the street if you don’t want to walk. The hotel is clean and well kept. "Loved this property and would absolutely stay again.. great location near City Market and short walk to the water and park and the Pineapple Fountain. Staff was perfect. You hardly noticed they were there but always right there when we needed anything. We never saw the staff cleaning the rooms and were never disturbed, but rooms were always cleaned when we were out, even though at different times of the day. All furnishings updated and stylish, bathrooms and toiletries luxurious and bedding and robes high quality. Turntable in the room a fun treat, Tall glass bottles in the room fillable with fresh filtered water from the hallway taps, and coffee, tea and treats in the hallway as well. Lovely outdoor restaurant/courtyard for relaxing with fireplace. Wish we took advantage of loaner bicycles. "

"We enjoyed staying here very much. It was a great location to be close to Charleston without being in the city. And having tge shuttle to take you to Charleston and back was wonderful. The staff was wonderful and helpful at the hotel with the exception of the housekeepers, who were not friendly, however, they performed their jobs well. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, especially the rooms and bathroom but they were both clean and functional and tge views were to die for! But the rooms were also very small. Beds were very comfortable. And the ice-cream treat each day was something to look forward to! "
