The hotel had everything we needed…comfy beds, Starbucks in the morning, had lunch at the restaurant (delicious), and a nice lounge for a night cap. We really appreciated the valet parking! Loved the revamping of an older hotel.

This hotel is listed as four stars, but it really needs a major facelift. The beds were uncomfortable, and the AC didn’t work throughout the night. They also turned off the water for maintenance without notifying guests in advance—when we returned late from a wedding, the only notice was a sign posted inside the elevator. By the next morning, the faucet was running only scalding hot water. The location is convenient and the staff were polite, but the overall experience fell well below what a four-star hotel should provide.

What a wonderful hotel! Check in and out was a breeze. The service was top notch and the room was spacious and lovely! I highly recommend staying at this hotel to anyone wanting a great location in the heart of Charleston’s Historic District.
