I love this hotel and have stayed 3 times. The condition is getting increasingly more worn in but they redid the patio area which was nice. Carpet may need to be replaced soon and some of the furniture needs reupholstering in the common areas.

The Ryder hotel is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. From the welcoming front desk to super clean room with all amenities. The decor is exquisite!! The pool area and bar are so inviting and beautifully decorated. The restaurant is a 5-star, the chef's creations are delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel over all others when visiting Charleston.

Gorgeous, boutique-sized hotel right in the heart of the city. We loved the cafe, the staff, and the pool! Friendly & helpful staff made the stay even better than imagined! While the rooms weren’t super quiet(due to other guests always talking in the hallways), we found that putting on white noise on (from our phones) worked like a charm!

We would go out all day and come back to an unmade up room, which is annoying. The pool is tiny so if you’re here on a weekend don’t expect to get in it! Room service is very overpriced.

Great location. Beautiful hotel with nice restaurants and bar area. Was not impressed with the extra $40 per day amenities fee. With an additional $50 day for parking (self parking is $30 per day a block away).

Very nice hotel. In a great area! Walking distance to everything. Would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the fire alarm went off 3 times during our 3 night stay. Which when you’re in the shower when it goes off is not pleasant!
