The only problem I had during our stay was (on Tues afternoon, I believe) a tour of LOUD 20 people right outside my door on the 5th floor! They were out there for about 20 min! Good thing I wasn't trying to rest!! NOT SMART MARKETING.You're annoying the guests you CURRENTLY have! Our room was GREAT! Very nicely decorated and very clean!!! Loved the large shower and view of the city! The staff were very friendly and the lobby is spectacularly decorated! Great restaurant next door and walkable to French market. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!!

This hotel was amazing! My sister and I were looking for a quick escape from up North and decided to stay at the Palmetto. It is located near everything and is a newer property. The price was a little bit higher than other hotels, but it was completely worth it! We were kindly greeted upon arrival and offered a complimentary welcome cocktail. They also provided fresh water and lemonade. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. In the evening, the bar next to the lobby brought in many nice people and the bartenders were friendly. There were so many restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront a short walk away. The next morning, breakfast was simple but exactly what we needed…grits and fresh fruit, fresh juices, coffees and tea. We only stayed three days, and we are both already planning to go back. Thank you Palmetto!

Great boutique Hotel. Beautifully appointed. Well thought out rooms. Only thing I was left wanting was a luggage rack. Was greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome drink 🍷 upon check-in. I was very lucky and was upgraded for my 1 night stay to a balcony room. It was only 2nd floor and a city view. If I am again in Charleston I will stay here and request a top floor balcony with a view 😜 From robes and slippers, in room mini bar, turn down service with chocolates, lobby craft cocktail bar, even an included light breakfast So tell me not be for every business traveler. But it is definitely a stop for either a long weekend away or a romantic getaway for two. If the spa they were partnered with wasn't 10 minutes away I would have definitely wandered in for some pampering. Be amazing if it was accross the alley or even just a couple of converted rooms on-site! Overall great hotel. Very agreeable staff and amazing location.

Nice hotel. The least expensive room is very nice and upgrades are necessary. The breakfast is exceptional and it is free. Overall the people are very nice. The phone in my room didn't work otherwise all is well.

This place was so lovely in design and style but what shined the most for me was the staff. Bianca was so gracious and kind making my early check in easy. John and another lovely blonde gal at the front desk were quick to meet me with a smile and helpful disposition. When I’m back I will only stay at the Palmetto!

Lovely hotel in the french quarter of Charleston. Close to great restaurants, bars, art galleries, a great open air market and a beautiful seaside park. The staff was absolutely wonderful, showcasing Southern Hospitality and service. Will definitely stay here again
