Perfect place to walk around Charleston. I arrived early and stored my luggage at the hotel, they also allowed me to check in early which was much appreciated. The front desk was not a very friendly person, professional but not welcoming. I loved my room except the door didn’t have a tight seal so not only did it let lots of light into the room, but I could hear full conversation as people passed by.

Incredibly charming, easy to access, clean rooms and amazing breakfast/happy hour options. I wish there was a "lounge" space of sorts but understand the constraints in the historic building!

The rooms at the Andrew Pinckney Inn are comfortable and graciously decorated. Its included breakfast, served in an attractive rooftop solarium, is quite good and plentiful. Its late-afternoon wine and cheese hour is a welcome repsite after spending the day walking in the heat in this beautiful, historic city. We have stayed there three times and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Charleston.

The Inn was run like a European inn. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the city as well as the surrounding area's. My favorite thing was the 4:00 reception with wine and cheese, they even had a quest speaker who talked about the history of the city from the pre revolutionary era to the present.

Lovely hotel! Daily light-housekeeping was such a treat (haven’t experienced that since Covid). Complimentary breakfast was a plus (great coffee & chocolate croissants); wine & cheese reception was terrific with delightful hostesses! Negatives would be parking was an additional $28 per day and, on our departure morning, maid service came in 3 times (even after we stated we’d be leaving at 11 {check-out time}). Actually got annoying with the 3rd entry into our room (while we’re showering & packing).

Wonderful experience. Always stay here and love the property and staff. Only issue this time was on the check out day, housekeeping let themselves into our room 4 times starting hours before the check out time of 11am and continued all morning which was unpleasant

Outdated with great food
We were in the area for a short stay and decided on the Andrew Pickney Inn based on other reviews and thought it would be a charming quaint experience. The accommodations are actually in a separate building across the street from the lobby and parking area, which we were surprised about, and probably would not have stayed here if we knew that, mostly for security purposes. The entrance to the rooms is accessed by your card key from a main building entrance on a main street, which again we were curious about since it did not feel very secure. The hotel room was clean and the refrigerator was stocked with water but the room itself felt small and you could hear a lot of noise from the street and people going up and down the stairs and opening/closing their doors. We had trouble sleeping b/c we could hear noise. They offered complimentary wine and cheese, which was very nice and the proximity to restaurants was also good. Overall, it's a well-kept accommodation with friendly staff, but we would likely not stay here again.

Wonderful inn with many amenities
We enjoyed our stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn very much. The location is great in the historic district near the Carriage Rides stable and a walkable delicious seafood dinner at Hyman's Seafood Restaurant. The Inn offers an awesome wine and charcuterie reception in the early evening and an amazing free breakfast on the glassed-in top floor that has wonderful views. Our room and beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the water bottles provided in the mini-fridge. We would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Good location - walkable to many areas Paid $1540 (CAD) for 3 nights on a weekend last minute (plus $28 USD for valet parking, self parking not offered) Our room was an adjoining room located right by the parking area, stairs and window faced the road. It's a popular city to visit and we had some really noisy guests in the next room. Thankfully the hotel was able to move us to a somewhat quieter location for our next two nights and they comped our parking which was a nice touch. Free breakfast was ok. We didn't try the cheese and wine also offered.
