The room was very nice, we booked a room with private pool and ocean view. The shrubbery between the rooms could be improved for better privacy or smoked glass between would be a nice upgrade. View to the ocean from the pool wasn’t there, but sitting on the patio outside you could see it. They removed the hammocks so the pictures were outdated. Could have used a bench inside of the pool to sit on or something to float around the pool on. The drape by the jacuzzi failed to work after we rolled it down. Called for repair and the gentleman didn’t appear to know basic mechanics and was trying to roll the drape by hand causing the cord to get wrapped around it and it would never work like that. I stepped in and assisted while he was calling for help. I rolled the drape up using his ladder to support the other end, using the cord and then it was properly rolled up and ready to hang. He assisted me to hang it and it functioned properly after that. The beach was very clean, yet the peddlers(vendors) were very pushy, saying things cost much more in the shop at the hotel than what they were selling for, this is so untrue. Check the store prices before going for comparison. There were lots of interactions and handoffs, so tipping is rough as we wanted to tip those that provided exceptional service. But such little time with each leave little amount to be thankful for, we probably tipped to much. Food was okay, many foods we thought could have been cold was warm and and same for cold.

The property was nice! Beautiful landscaping. On hotter days the pool was warmer than the jacuzzi but there was some shaded area near the swim up bars it felt a bit cooler. Only 2 complaints we had on our trip was our room smelled a bit moldy. When we went to their busier restaurants called the brass the service was slow we put our order in 20 mins after we were seated the waiters phone wasn’t working he took our order on a piece of paper. We waited to get our food probably another 30-40 mins we saw the couple aside of us that had come few minutes after us got their food before us and even had their dessert before we even had our entree. My wife thinks they forgot about putting our order in that’s why we had received our food very late. The steak was good but the wait time was too much. I would say for the more popular restaurant although they say you do not need a reservation for them like the surf & turf, brass, the Mexican restaurant and Italian I would try to put in for one because our first night we had to wait an extra 45 mins to get a table to eat at the brass we went to dinner around 7:00pm. Domo there was no wait time that one was a good restaurant too they had a surf and turf entree lobster and beef tendorlin amazing! We went on this trip for my birthday they asked me in our private check in what was the occasion. They told me to pick a restaurant I can pick made a reservation for me sing happy b day the waiters and made a special b day cake!

There was construction happening the whole time we were there. Every morning we were woken up by construction noise and loud talking. Ordered breakfast the last day and didn’t receive it. I am now headed to the airport to travel all day without eating. Staff is great. Manager seemed bothered by our complaints about construction. We also told him we never received our ordered breakfast and he did or said nothing. Staff is amazing. They should be doing his job.

Service The staff were great! From check in, throughout our stay, and departing was impeccable. Everyone was very nice and doing everything they could to make sure we had a great experience. I recommend a Coco Loco for a drink. English is well spoken throughout the resort. Room Our room was spacious (we had a swim up suite) and cool AC. We did pack a small fan just because we sleep with it on. The room (and entire resort) is very modern. Great rain shower, plenty of closet and drawer space, along with a stock of drinks and snacks. Great WiFi all the way to the beach, plenty of English channels on the TV, and US plugs for charging cell phones, etc. Rooms 2xxx and 3xxx are the furtherest from the beach (5 min walk), but quiet at night.
