Small resort. Had a junior suite and the room overlooked the parking lot to the entrance. Not relaxing in any way. Couldn’t make a dinner reservation the first night because I went to the desk two minutes before 5pm (only arrived at 3:30) and the girl was gone. Was never told there was a time cutoff. Room also wasn’t ready at arrival despite check-in being 3pm. It wasn’t all bad, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is a small resort but the food was amazing. One bad thing was all the bars close at 6pm and the lobby bar closes at 11pm. But one good perk Is that 5th Avenue is half a block away so you can enjoy the night in town. The staff was all really nice and very accommodating. I would totally come back for a quick weekend get away.

I love that the shopping center was minutes away from the hotel! The hotel was very good all around. I would highly recommend the Mexican restaurant in the hotel if you dont want to eat outside the hotel (i would say its the best one out of the 4). The hotel had daily activites that would bring guest together and make the stay more entertaining. Some downsides... the hotel beach had a lot of rocks in the water making unbearable to walk, so you had to walk about 3 minutes to get to an all sand beach. They also now charge $10 USD each time you order room service. My one complaint is the miscommunication between the staff and room service. I ordered room service 1 night and they stated they do not serve drinks. I went down to the front desk and asked how i could get more soda in my fridge and they said you would have to go through room service (meaning they would charge you $10). But once i asked room service, they stated they do not give out drinks. We were out of luck when the room service came. The front desk did not help us resolve this issue. Overall, i would rate this hotel 8/10

The food was not great. Close to town. Walking distance to shopping. Lots of police presence. It says a two minute walk to the beach...not a good beach. We walked about 10-15 minutes to the good beach.

We opted to upgrade our room to oceanfront. The room was in the very end and because of the way the building was shaped. Our oceanfront was pointed at an old crappy break wall that was not very refreshing to look at. It was a total waste of $250 U.S. dollars

The rooms are very spacious and the pool side facilities are great. The access to the beach is a big plus. The towels, showering facilities and bed linen are of good quality. However, the bed was not too comfortable. The bar services, pool activities and evening entertainment were very good. The food was delicious but the presentation can be improved. We were there on honeymoon and we paid for an upgrade to a pool/sea facing room. We somehow expected this to be a complementary upgrade but paid since they indicated that it was not possible. We had a big issue with parking our rented car since the facility does not have parking spaces and we could not get coins to pay for the parking. The police almost confiscated our vehicle but the hotel management did very little to help. We spent a significant amount of time looking for coins everyday to pay for the parking which stole time that we should have spent enjoying our honeymoon. We feel that the management should urgently address this issue to make their customers stay more comfortable. The front office desk staff acted like they did not care throughout which really surprised us. On our second last day, we wrote a formal complaint to hotel management. Rosario, a manager, tried very much to address our coins issue. That night, we received special treatment during dinner and our room was decorated. While we appreciated her gesture, we feel that the special treatment should have been accorded to us from the beginning.
