1st room. Got a double when I reserved a king. Was not told. When I went in it smelled bad. Like sewage. They gave me a second room. It was king. But the next day I notched that the coffee machine did not work. Sink when drain very slow. And the ceiling was leaking from the bathroom. So they gave me a 3rd room. This time the room did not have air conditioning and the music from the street was so loud. I’ve been here before and had no problems. But this was an event that changed how I feel about this place. I might give them one more try.

I stay at the El Cortez every time I come to Vegas, which is often, because it has always been my favorite place to stay. Unfortunately, the last couple of visits have been pretty disappointing. During my most recent stay, my room was absolutely filthy. The floors were so dirty that walking on them turned the bottoms of my feet black. The bathroom was not clean, and there was hair in the bed sheets — something that should never happen in a hotel. I’ve always loved staying here, but the declining cleanliness has really changed my experience. I truly hope management addresses these issues, because I would love to keep coming back, but not under these conditions.
