The accommodations were great. There were a couple good staff members. However, this is a “5 star” resort and it didn’t live up to those standards. First impressions: construction in every direction, not once were we greeted coming or going. Not one chair in the massive lobby. The casino floor is crowded and smoky. That, in itself, merits a star downgrade. However, A water main broke and many rooms were without water for at least 24 hours. Including the main floor, lobby, casino, and restaurants. (And bathroom facilities.) This hotel was utterly unprepared for this and staff would not even make eye contact. The concierge said “we don’t know what’s going on. We are here to make reservations and recommendations.” What!? The only option was the front desk, which was mobbed. The overwhelmed staff there did not have up to date information and did not offer options for showering or restrooms. It may be unfair to judge a property under these circumstances, but that’s the time an exceptional property and staff should step up. We were sadly disappointed.

Helpful staff everywhere. Didn't matter who we talked to or who answered our questions, they always had a smile and were helpfull. The casino is like a maze. HUGE. They need better signage to elevators because it's just impossible. Everyone is lost all around the halls! That being said, the rooms were super clean anf cleaned every day, which is amazing post-Covid. Also, you can't go wrong with The Grand Luxe restaurant. Such good food, for every meal. I think The Palazzo (attached and related) is better appointed as far as decor, but our king room with a Sphere view was top notch! One other note, The Venetian is one of the most environmentally clean businesses in the world.
