Staff was extremely rude to me and my family! We were five minutes late on check out due to my son having to use the restroom before leaving the room and the lady that cleans was extremely rude about it telling us to hurry up and get out when she had clearly seen we had the little cart full of our luggage and everything was all packed ready to get out. We were simply just waiting on my son to come out the restroom and she didn’t care and got mad telling us things! Would never stay here again would not recommend!!!!

Loved the atmosphere and the pools. Didn’t like how the bars and food service at the pools closed well before the pools closed- especially with outside food and drink restrictions. Would have been nice that, after checkout, the pool facilities would have been available for use while waiting for our flight.

Purse was stolen in the lobby by another guest. Security asked us not to call the police (looking to keep the theft off their profile) and that they could handle it internally. Note to people up for risking a stay here: Call Metro and handle it yourself. If you’re advised by hotel security not to call the police because they won’t respond fast enough (as we were), just know that security has limited authority and can’t do much to help unless the person who stole the bag just decides to give it back. When we went to the precinct to file a report, there was another couple who’d also been robbed at this hotel. Officers there said Tahiti Village was often a hot spot for theft because guests tend to have kids with them and are thus sometimes distracted (that was the case with us). Anyway, good luck everybody!
