My wife and I booked a King bedroom through Expedia at Sahara. The man at the counter who checked us in told us he was giving us a room upgrade, which at the time sounded cool. When we got to the room, he had “upgraded” us to a room with two full-size beds rather than the one king that we reserved. With it being so late and us just wanting to go to sleep, we said screw it, and stayed in the room. Then the next morning when we went to turn on the main light at the start of the day, it didn’t work. And when we went to take a shower, it wouldn’t drain. So we had to cut our morning showers short so we wouldn’t flood the bathroom. And then to add one final example of mediocrity on the way out, they only had one working elevator. So everyone was stuck either rolling the dice that there’d be room for them on the way down during checkout time or get stuck riding the elevator up to secure your ride down. Needless to say, the next time we visit Vegas, we won’t be paying 4star prices for Motel service at the Sahara.

The casion was very clean it didnt smell overwhelming like tobacco at all... We loved it because we did have our kid with us , the room was very clean and the monorail being next door was very convenient and saved us alot of money and time i didnt move my vehicle once in the 3 days i was there thanks sahara hotel for a great treatment and experience.

Sahara hotel was such a pleasant and beautiful experience overall. Staff were very professional and friendly. Hotel presented many food/drink options. Pool had humongous sports screens broadcasting live sport events. Parking was so easy and FREE!

Food choices are great. Unfortunately our room had a view of the concert venue were were attending... desk staff did not warn us that every day of the festival there would be a room weapons search by hotel security ... ( mandated by LV metro PD) we had a rude wake up call... I understand security was doing their job... but desk staff could have warned us about it at check in and possibly offered a non view room if we didn't want to be woken up after alate night in vegas... I feel it was a disconnect between the front desk and security.

We enjoyed the view from our room and the room was very nice. However upon arrival we noticed a broken light on a chandelier, which I reported to the front desk just so they knew. They said someone would come fix it, which they did. When we went back up I went to the bathroom for the first time and saw the toilet was leaking on the floor, I reported this as well as we went out for the day. When we returned we found our room door propped open with no one inside or in the hall. We made sure nothing was missing then asked the front desk why it was left open and if someone was coming back. they said they'd let me know and never heard anything else about it. Then that evening when I took a shower the drain was clogged so you're standing in water the whole time. I didn't report this because I didn't want my door left open again while we were away. Overall it was a good stay it just felt like we had to deal with something everytime we came back to the room, but the staff was very helpful and nice no reflection on them (except the person that propped my door).
