Very clean room and was serviced every day without asking. We got an efficiency unit nut there was only a coffee pot, ice bucket, 2 burner stove and refrigerator with a few cooking utensils, one frying pan and 2 small and medium pot. No dishes, cups, glasses, plates, bowls or silverware. Because it was efficiency we could not have ocean front view either. Ground floor with no ocean view, no private balcony. Parking was right in front of the room. Couldn’t open the curtain either. Would had no privacy at all since the pool area was across the parking lot on the main road. Very disappointed where our room was located but it was very clean. When I told the service desk I as upset about no ocean view at all she didn’t offer any alternative. May not have had any other room but she didn’t tell me that either. Didn’t seem to care. Take it or leave it.

We were in town for a disc golf tournament and we stay here twice a year. We love the location since there is a brewery 1 block away and the Kill Devil Grill right across the street

It was a nice location on the ocean with a boardwalk to the beach. Continental breakfast was nice, great coffee. Needs more parking spaces and some updates, but otherwise very clean.

We got “stranded” in Nags Head for the night due to 12 being closed to Hatteras and we needed a place to stay. The receptionist was lovely and helpful and the room was clean and quiet and perfect for the night!

We have enjoyed staying at the JY several times. The amenities are clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is simple yet filling. We were saddened by the dune blocking our view (room 507) but we’re thankful that it helped block some of the nor’easter winds coming through. We still enjoyed sitting outside and the new pavilion on the beach. We did get rained on by sand when the staff was sweeping the balcony above us (feedback given to front desk). We will continue to stay here again and again.
