The cons: The shower seemed a bit dirty as there was stuff on the shower wall, the mirrors were dirty, and the bathroom sink didn't drain well and would back up. The pool seemed a little cloudy and some debris floating around, around pool could use a good scrubbing. The pros: 10% discount at the diner, there was a pool open 8a-8p, and a small fridge in the room. There was also an accessable balcony. For the price of our stay it was better than expected and we would stay again.

It was depressing to be in bed looking up at all the Dirty water spots on the ceiling . The bathroom light wasnt working all the time so we had to use cell phone flash light. the place was Not torally terrible. Lobby was clesn , hallways were clean . The pool was cold but very clean.

The staff were nice and it’s a super convenient location for seeing Mystic Aquarium and the surrounding area. Mystic Diner on premise is good anytime with breakfast all day. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated and badly in need of a makeover. Pricey for the condition.

Not at all what I expected for almost $300. Visible dirt, bugs, peeling paint, holes in the ceiling, noisy people outside in the dark/unsafe feeling parking lot. Good location and pool looked decent. Front desk lady was lovely. I definitely would not recommend staying here overall.

The staff was very nice and the lobby was nice. The rooms were outdated and dingy. The rugs and shower needed an upgrade and our refrigerator wasn’t working and had old food and made the whole room smell.

Perfect stay
Loved the pool and the room and bathroom were very clean. Enjoyed the convenience of the location just outside of the Mystic downtown but close enough to drive to all the popular venues.

A good stay
The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant and willing to help. The property could use attention (bathroom grout, etc.) but was comfortable. Maid service is by request which suited us. All in all it was a very pleasant stay in beautiful Mystic.

First room I had the bathroom was disgusting. The tub was filthy and wouldn’t drain, the bathroom light above the sink kept going off when I was in there. There was mold in the tub and on the bathroom ceiling. I asked to switch rooms and the second room wasn’t much better the mattress was horribly stained with old blood down the sides and the curtains to the sliding door has mold on the bottom. It smelled of cigarettes.

Comfortable and nicely appointed. Easy walk to the Mystic Diner for meals. Handy to much of the rest of Mystic. This was a steal of a deal!

Ovarall stay was great comfortable love the own personal balconies and also the jacuzzi tubs in the room. Reasonably priced and beds were comphy. Staff was friendly. Only complaint the light in the bathroom wouldnt stay on the celing in the main room had water spots was a little nervous about those and i had too fix the tv as it did not work other than thay it was ovarall nice.

Disappointed.
I was there for 2 nights. The first room was very hot until the sun went down. The AC was set on 60. I cleaned the clogged AC filters it seemed to help. The bathroom sink did not drain. I was given a plunger, and the sink stayed full of black crud and smelly water. They moved me to another cleaner room which the AC seemed to be working much better. I did clean the AC filters which were clogged. The toilet didn't flush. The handle just spun in circles. I opened the tank cover, adjusted the arm and chain and it worked fine. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear people talking and the TV in the adjacent room. The TV was left on all night and I'm a light sleeper. The rooms need updating. The grounds are overgrown and not maintained. All in all typical for an of the interstate exit motel. This was below par. Upsetting for the weekend tourist price I was charged for the Saturday night stay. The reduced price for Sunday night was too expensive for the product they are selling. Pretty disappointed.

I stayed here with my family for the weekend. It was reasonably priced. It was very close to everything. The staff was very nice. There was adequate parking. There was a nearby diner on the property. The room we were given needed repairs. The lock on the door was broken. The lock on the bathroom door was broken. The tub looked like it was unsealed on the outside. The bathroom light kept going out after 10 seconds. The rugs in the hallways were stained. Anyone can come into the motel. It was not locked.
