This cute little hotel was absolutely perfect for my mom and I on our travels back to San Diego after a long flight from Thailand! The beds were super comfy, price was just right. The girl who checked us in gave us the most beautiful room. She was so kind and friendly. Very easy to communicate with. Just down the street from the ocean too! I will forever remember this place. Great place to stay! The breakfast options were pretty nice as well!

When I booked this hotel it was not what I expected seeing it on site. In their website the hotel looked so upgraded but in reality it was very old and has that distinct smell. The first day we there the key was malfunction and did again on the second day was very disappointing to say the least. Overall please do not display an upgrade if not true very dishonest. I will never go back again.

Hotel is more like 2.5 Stars My reservation was a Spa King Balcony. I got to my room & no Spa? Went back to the office & he offered an upgrade, but no balcony? I like the salty ocean air since it is near the beach. I ended up negotiating & got an extra 3-hours of stay to compensate & no down deposit. The room had ants in the bathroom shower creeping out the walls & by the desk. There is not small table where most room would have it, so I ate the desk that had ants on it?

Great stay and property to stay close to some things to do in San Clemente. Would stay again. They are undergoing some remodeling this property used to be a best western. They have breakfast and have parking onsite. This can fill up quick. I would say they do need an elevator to second floor. Also the room we stayed in was also nice with updates amenities and jacuzzi bathroom tub. The shower door had some issues would not close. Nice pool and hot tub.
