The Lodge at Flat Rock was such a pleasant surprise. The property was so much more than your average hotel. The "lodge" theme was perfectly executed with a stone fireplace, wooden beams, lovely staircase and second floor balcony overlooking the common area. The property behind the lodge featured a lovely landscaped rock waterfall and several gathering areas. Our room was upgraded to a luxury suite that truly exceeded our expectations. In addition to the property, I must give a shoutout to the amazing and professional staff! Our first encounter was with a young lady at the front desk named Taylor. She made us feel welcome and then made it a point to get to know a little bit about what we hoped to do while in the area. She offered excellent suggestions for our visit. Whenever guests return to the hotel they greet you with a heartfelt "Welcome Home"! We will definitely return to The Lodge at Flat Rock!

Great location outside of Asheville. Super friendly staff. Very clean and Better than staying at any chain! Special touches like chocolates on the pillows when we entered and addressing us every time we entered and exited the hotel as well as local recommendations for dining. Highly recommend!

My stay here was great. Away from the Hussle and bussle, but not far up in the mountains to where things are unreachable. The room was nice, staff was wonderful, the whole ambiance was extremely pleasant.

The entire resort was so clean.. it's been a while since I've stayed in such a clean and comfortable place. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Thank you Scott & your staff for working with us. Beautiful Hotel!
This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at over the last few years. This was one of 5 hotels we stayed at over the course of a road trip, and was by far the most beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was more than I had hoped for with a nice kitchen area. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
