Honestly this place would’ve gotten 4 stars all around. My fiance and I, who are from MD, went to Philadelphia to see a concert. We last minute booked this on Expedia same day. The photos looked great and reviews weren’t terrible. Also, it was affordable. We have a two year-old and rarely get a night out like this. We got to the hotel, checked in three our bags in the room and went to our concert. Had a great time, even stopped in Philly and got some cheesesteaks. Went back to the hotel room looking forward to a nice hot shower after being stuffed in a stadium, all sweaty and with people smoking. Went to shower and it wouldn’t turn on. Called the front desk. They said there’s nothing they can do and a maintenance guy can be there around 3 AM. This was at midnight. We were supposed to check out at 11 AM. We did not want to go to bed to be woken up at 3 AM for them to fix a shower that we wouldn’t even use that point. We requested another room. They said no. Called Expedia, who also called the front desk and also confirmed they didn’t have any extra rooms to offer us and at least they could send somebody at 3 AM. Absolutely not. After going back-and-forth with the front desk and Expedia for a little under an hour, we made the decision to just drive home. The front desk refused to refund, and Expedia also refuse to refund but for our $90 stay they said they’d just give us a $50 credit on Expedia. Took my losses, accepted the credit and went home. Disappointed, and frustrated.
