Great hotel
Great hotel. I love that it’s Margaritaville now. Great restaurant options and clean rooms. I booked thru hotels.com for a King bed but on check in they told me our room was a Queen. They informed me that if they over booked rooms, they prioritize guests that booked thru their website.. thankfully they were able to switch rooms for me, and everything else was great.

Extortionate resort fee
Room was pleasant. Not happy about the compulsory valet parking. The charge is a rip off as is the resort fee. We didn’t use anything. Not even your WiFi. Totally unnecessary and obviously a money making ploy

No one was helpful, I asked questions and they either did not know or were rude to me. I was yelled at by the car people and to pay to have my car there and to be yelled at was not appropriate at all.

It was our first time ever staying here and we thought it would be absolutely wonderful. The outside is clean all the areas looked really clean unfortunately one of the areas that we wanted to enjoy, but couldn’t enjoy very long was the pool. we had the opportunity to go to the pool Sunday afternoon, the bathrooms were absolutely a mess. One bathroom had soap in it. The other bathroom did not there was trash all over Both of the bathrooms, someone had had diarrhea in one of the bathrooms and it was all over the toilet . The pool felt wonderful, but when we went to turn on the Jets for the hot tub, we were so overwhelmed by the chemicals that we had to get out we were coughing, our eyes were burning, we got lightheaded. The room was also not very clean the cabinets in the bathroom had someone’s leftover preparation H wipes. We didn’t do anything with them because we didn’t want to touch someone else’s wipes that they used on their bottom. We left them on the lower bottom right shelf where we found them . The staff were very kind and friendly the rest of the hotel Was beautiful unfortunately the elevators were dirty especially the doors with lots of many handprints all over them. We figured since the hotel was so busy with lots of teams there for soccer that maybe the hotel just couldn’t keep up with the cleanliness due to the many groups of kids there. Our son is immunocompromised so we pay close attention to cleanliness and we just used extra caution.

We stayed at this property 6 years ago when it was affiliated with our timeshare. We liked it then, but we really loved our stay this time. Love the ambiance, but not crazy about additional charge for parking & additional charge for breakfast. Those were not charged before. But, overall, it was a great stay.
