The hotel could use a little updating, but it is a great location with a very nice view, and Joshua made our check-in quick and easy!

Whole place needs updating, peeling paint, noisy bathroom fans, very poor lighting throughout the building, unpleasant smell in the hallways, elevator creaks, scratched furniture in the room, electrical outlets need to be replaced. Major overhaul is needed or consider closing it down.

The hotel services were great. The property has one big problem. The trains run near by every hour and blow their horns 7 to 10 times. Hard to sleep, if you are a light sleeper. I was on the river side and it was very loud.

Property is beautiful and right near cedar point. Our only complaint was the restaurant/bar next to it had very loud live music and we were exhausted after a day at the parks and just wanted to sleep. Next time I would request a room at the other side of the hotel if we stay on a weekend again

Instead of being able to stay at this hotel I got a phone call about the loss of a family member. I let the hotel and hotels.com know what was going on. I was hoping the manager would have compassion enough to refund me. I was made aware by others the manager of this hotel could have made the choice to refund me as other hotels have done when a major family emergency has happened. This place was firm on no cancellations within a certain time frame under any circumstances. Told I did not cancel within 48 hours instead! Is sad and to treat someone going through this loss with no compassion. Definitely not a place that cares back to those who give them business. Wish I could have given a good review had this been handled different.
