Beautiful well-equipped, Mountain View condominium located on a spectacular ocean cliff on Kauai’s pristine north shore. The condominium is tastefully furnished and has just had new tile installed through out the condo and one of the bathrooms was just redone. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with both a washer & dryer. There are beautiful mountain views with waterfalls and incredible sunsets off the lanai. Alii Kai I in the Princeville Resort is the gateway to an affordable and unforgetable Hawaiian Vacation. These condos are nice and private with good amounts of beautiful land surrounding them.

Princeville at Hanalei is a quality recreational resort community. The Resort is situated on the Northeast corner of the Island of Kauai, 28 miles from the main airport of Lihue and just a few minutes from the Princeville Airport. Sitting on a high plateau it is surrounded by the ocean, Hanalei Bay, and the Bali-Hai Mountains. It's 1000 acres provides the framework for several excellent golf courses, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, snorkeling, etc. Scattered throughout the resort are areas of dedicated parkland, private homes, several condominium groupings, two hotels, and two golf courses. The condo is clean and had plenty of room for my wife, son, and I. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated, newer flooring, and well-equipped kitchen. No A/C, but open windows and fans helped at night. We took advantage of the kitchen and charcoal grill to eat in and save some money eating out. The location is close to a Foodland grocery store, restaurants, and shops on the north shore. Also close to several beaches. The trail to Turtle Cove is right across the parking lot. The trail is steep and muddy but not difficult. It is worth it in my opinion. My wife enjoyed the chickens that stopped by every morning to say hi. We didn’t necessarily enjoy the roosters crowing before sunrise, but when you’re in paradise you can’t complain. The lanai closet is stocked with a few boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel sets, and other miscellaneous beach gear. The bedroom closets also had some snorkel gear, golf clubs (older set), and other miscellaneous recreational gear. I didn’t necessarily agree with the checkout cleaning requirements which I wasn’t aware of until about two weeks out from check-in. While the requirements are fairly reasonable and not the worst cleaning requirements I’ve experienced with a VRBO rental, when you pay a cleaning fee there should not be any cleaning required by the guests in my opinion. The checkout instructions state that there’s a garbage disposal, but there is not one. Would recommend it and would stay again.

Amazing Slice of Heaven
My kids and I stayed at this beautiful peace of property. It was perfect and we seriously could not have asked for anything more . Came with board games, beach towels , boogie boards , Beach chairs, snorkeling, equipment, Sand toys, A yoga ball and a whole lot of chickens. 😂 The view is breathtaking and it’s a hop and a skip from watching the sunrise and the sunset over the water. Also a stones throw from turtle cave, which is an absolute must if you stay on the property. Can’t recommend this place anymore. We will absolutely be returning! Mahalo !

Perfect place!
The condo didn’t have AC, but opening the windows and turning on the fans cooled it right down. It was roomy. The bathrooms and bedrooms were large and comfy mattresses. The only thing was we couldn’t get warm water on our last day there, so showers were cold and fast, but that may be a building thing. The view off the cliffs was spectacular and beautiful! If I ever get to go back to Kauai I will try this place again.

Everything we wanted!
The condo was everything we wanted and more. We fell in love with the north side of the island years ago and was so happy to stay here. We spent 8 days on the north side and 2 day trips to the south. There’s so many hikes and dreamy snorkeling areas within walking distance! Loved how close it is to restaurants and shopping in Hanalei and Kiluea. We were so grateful for the beach towels. Pro tip: bring hiking sandals with grips on the bottom and also water shoes for snorkeling. Buy your snorkel mask and tube off Amazon. The only downfall which is no fault of this condo was the tenant above us. He seemed to be stomping around the entire night every night. Also the roosters crow as early as 3am so bring a white noise fan if you are a light sleeper! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. It was amazing!!!

We stayed in Princeville for the second half of our trip to Kauai for our honeymoon. Checking in & o it were easy! The condo is very clean. Beds are comfy! Having a full kitchen was nice. Expect the roosters and birds to be loud most of the day (we didn't mind it!). There's a short (but dangerous) trail near the condo that I recommend visiting, it takes you right on the right near the water! :) the views from the bedrooms are beautiful and you hear the ocean from the room :) highly recommend staying here.

This property is well equipped and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable and in a beautiful location -- we saw whales right from the complex by walking about a hundred yards from our door! Close to grocery store and restaurants. This property is very convenient for north shore activities, but anything else means a trip back around the island.

A wonderful week in paradise
What a beautiful condo! Very clean. The furnishing, lamps,and decor beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable we wished we could take them home. The grounds were perfectly landscaped and manicured. Breathtaking views and very quiet. There was a Rooster alarm clock that was a resident but he was beautiful. We highly recommend this unit and would stay here again. Aloha

Beautiful Princeville Condo
This was the perfect condo for our short stay in Kauai! It was clean and comfortable, and it’s location on the north side of the island is great! We enjoyed the view of the lush Kauai landscape and mountains from the back patio. With a fantastic view of the gorgeous Pacific the moment we stepped out the front door. We also enjoyed amenities which included use of beach chairs! Made for a perfect day at the beach! Wendy was also so easy to work it! Thanks for hosting us! Can’t wait to make it back!
