The resort is absolutely beautiful and clean. The rooms are wonderful. We can’t begin to say enough about the AMAZING staff. Especially from Pelicano’s Restaurant with excellent food and awesome staff. Miriam, Eulises, Adan, Max, and Ruben. They made us feel so welcomed. Dolma Restaurant also was amazing food and service from Valentin. He took such good care of us. William at front desk, Christian doing security at the beach cabanas, and great drink service from our server, Antonio on the beach as well as all the servers throughout the resort. From the moment you arrive and throughout your stay you are pampered and appreciated. Many thanks also to Manager on Duty, Kevin Yanez and General Manager Erik Fois, for a FABULOUS vacation and running such a great resort with incredibly friendly staff. WE WILL BE BACK!!

The property itself was breathtaking. It was extreme big and spacious. The rooms themselves were massive, which helps when it’s gonna be your home for the next few days of your vacation. The property however only has one jacuzzi, so make sure to get there before everyone else. Great walking distance to 5th street.

My stay was cut short after I had a sudden bathroom emergency far from the nearest restroom. Instead of a simple warning or chance to explain, I was told to leave the property only a few hours after check-in, while my wife was told she could stay. This was handled with zero compassion. For an adults-only all-inclusive that serves alcohol all day with limited bathrooms, this response was extreme and ruined our trip.

Overall, Hyatt Vivid is a beautiful hotel. It is aesthetically pleasing and is close to town. The buffet has amazing food options and the restaurants on the property are pretty good. My only gripe is that everything closes pretty early on the property which leads you to find things to do outside. They don’t offer many games with their entertainment team. However, keeping in mind that this property switched over 6 months ago or so it was an amazing experience and I enjoyed my stay.
