No one at the front desk on arrival. Couldn’t find any staff for help. 3 parties waiting, took at least 10 minutes for someone to show up, then the keys wouldn’t work. Arrived at our room the 2nd day to find our door not closed tight. Housekeeping not checking when leaving! Stayed here many times but rooms are in need of renovating. Entertainment is great, food overpriced & just ok.

We had a great time at this hotel. It's older but it has so much charm. The pool was warm and large. It was a quiet time of year so it wasn't crowded at all. Great location.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over many years and I will go back. It is not perfect. The hotel is charming for those who remember and/or appreciate Lucy and Desi and the leading performers of their time, such as Bob Hope. The hotel is filled with photos of that era. The pool is nice enough and I've never seen it busy. The lobby bathrooms are stunning and old and very cool looking! The continental breakfast is adequate. There is plenty of easy parking. The rooms have small refrigerators and that is awesome, but there are NO MICROWAVES and I wasn't able to reheat my leftovers. The restaurant we went to gave large old school portions and I really wanted to finish the meal later, which I virtually never do, but this time the food was exceptional. The desk clerk said he had no way to reheat my food and he/we weren't able to use the microwave in the kitchen. Apparently, the hotel staff has a microwave, but he wouldn't make the effort. Bummer! This one mistake, is causing me to probably/possibly look for another hotel next time I am in the area. But I do like the Indian Wells Resort Hotel and want it to do well. If it was busier the overall experience will do better for everyone.
