Beautiful hotel
It’s a very big hotel very clean! Beds were comfortable staff was friendly great access to the pools and beach outside bar. Definitely will recommend. Pricey pet fee Please check with hotel with what breed you have some are not accepted. Amazing's Views!!!

Conveniently located close by to the airport & other attractions. Bed was very comfortable & pillows soft. Corey, the bartender at the pool bar, was incredibly kind & really helped keep the vacation vibes fun & upbeat. Easy access to the beach. I didn’t have the best experience at check in with one of the managers. Additionally, the pools were filthy filled with dead bugs, which they claim that they clean everyday. The bathtub drains are clogged & didn’t properly drain the bath water, which felt unsanitary. Overall, this place is okay, but certainly nothing special or worth coming back to.

LIES! $40 room cleaning fee if you ask for it, told us we had a resort fee and when bill showed we were charged for coming in late ($125) every night we were also charged $20 resort fee. We put a $50 deposit down told we would get it back and yet with everything we still owe more. Your expected to wear a green van to “ help identify guest” yet had to wait multiple times to get let in as desk lady was busy on her phone and didn’t notice us at the door, buzzed and she was so rude every time asking what room we were in to be let in. Asked for extra towles and was reminded of room service fee. I said I just need towles. Shower was very weak for pressure. Temperature was fine. Pushy for you to go to there seminars

Expensive for dirty hotel.
The shower was dirty. There were many long black hairs on the shower curtain. My sister and I both have very short gray hair. There is now a $40 extra charge for having room straightened and fresh sheets or towels. The front desk clerks were downright rude. I have stayed at this resort several times before, but I will not be spending this much money for a room again at Westgate Resort. There are too many hotels on the beach to choose from.

The oceanfront rooms were amazing to wake up to and wind down to at the end of the evening. Definitely recommend them. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

We had good expectations from the place but once we got there noticed the room wasn’t properly cleaned. We stayed 4 nights and per the new protocols there was no housekeeping til we unoccupied the room. But we could have it clean if we paid a fee!!! The AC was not properly working and there was faul smell at times. Other than that pools were great and so was the staff. Will reconsider staying there again but at the end of the day you get what you paid for lol

It was quite dirty . The glass was foggy, bathroom had pee all over the bottom of the toliet. The furniture was all scratched and dirty. The tub and sink had hair. The overnight staff lady was bland and not welcoming at all. Very rude, my work trip ended 2 days early and I booked for 3 and paid in full and she was rude about me checking out early even though I didn’t ask for a refund or voucher or anything. Kinda unpleasant experience for my first time in SC.
