Welcome to the Madrone. This little cottage has big personality! Full kitchen with laundry and sweet backyard. Queen size bed in bedroom as well as queen size sofa couch in living room. Barn doors, stunning tile....so much charm. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The Madrone is one of six cottages, part of Creektown Cottages which includes your own private space as well as a community farm table, extra outdoor seating and BBQ shared with the other 5 cottages. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Grass Valley...perfect for those exploring the foothills. Great for families, weekend getaways & extended stay for business. Historic Grass Valley has so much to offer from arts, to music to hiking and water sports. Hosts have gathered local information on things to do and places to go and have binders in each cottage full of information for your use.

Hosts live in the area and they are available by phone or email.

Amazing coffee shops, breweries, restaurants and shopping all with in walking distance. Bus line right next door.

No better Location
We had a wonderful stay in the Madrone cottage. Can’t say enough about the location (within walking distance) to town “Mill Street” and great restaurants as well as shopping. Cottage has everything needed for perfect stay. One negative, it does back the post office so there is some am noise.

Loved it!
We loved our stay in this lovely little cabin that has everything you will ever need. I am a clean freak and this place met all of my expectations. Beautiful design touches. Private. Cozy. The kitchen was terrific the bathroom was terrific. The only thing I would change is all the plastic flowers and plants everywhere; it was an odd little disconnect. But overall, 5 Star.

Best hidden gem in Grass Valley
Skip the expensive prices of Tahoe and stay here at these beautiful charming cottages! You are one block walking distance from the cutest old mining town! And hiking trails within 10min too! Our cottage was so adorable I took pictures for ideas in my own home! With COVID the owners take extra special care in cleaning and making your stay very safe! Also, the kitchen has Everything you need to feel at home! I can’t recommend these cottages enough! Don’t wait! Book your trip now!!
