The Inn was the perfect place for relaxation! It is quaint and centrally located for easy access to the town and attractions . The daily breakfast was amazing with different options daily. The Inn on Mount Desert was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor. The Inn was very beautiful with a beautiful garden and lots of outdoor seating options to enjoy nice weather. The breakfast was fresh and made to order every morning with a variety of options as well as things like breads, bagels, and cereal along with coffee and orange juice. The staff were always willing to help with anything that was needed and provided us with silverware and a bottle opener when we had leftover food. The room was kept very clean with nice decor as well. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone making a trip to Bar Harbor!

Very clean rooms. Freshly cooked breakfasts included. Close to downtown- walking distance and close to Acadia National Park. There is a nice sitting room with a fireplace and a billards room. The walls look freshly painted and maintained.

Relaxing couple of days at Bar Harbor made nicer by stay at the Inn. Good location to waterfront and Arcadia Park. Early morning walk at shoreline, hike to Gorham Mountain Peak and stroll at Jordan Pond were all within easy reach by foot and by car. Very good bed and enjoyable breakfasts.

Great location, easy to find and rather walkable to the town (about 15-20 minutes). Parking was available but limited if you come later at night. Breakfast was hot and made to order which was pleasant.
