My issue was after checking in about 9:30pm after a 10 hour trip, I get up to my room the key cards did not work. I went back down to inform the staff. Asst. general manager Norman accompanied me back to the room to give a try, after a couple of attempts he stated he would go down and reprogram the cards while I waited on a chair near room. He returned about 10 minutes with reprogrammed cards that also failed to work. Norm stated that he would back down to the desk and look for another room with a king bed on my floor. He returned stating that a room with a king bed was available on the 4th and that he already checked the cards and they were working. After waiting over 25 minutes to get in my room was totally inconvenient.

This property was in a good location if you were in the Akron area or close to the lakes, but is also located right to a very busy restaurant with an open patio and live music which played until after midnight. So I would not recommend it on that basis if you really want to get a good nights sleep beware!

Property was good, but the room was dirty. There were almonds on the floor and the previous guest’s towel hanging on the bathroom door. The shower curtain had brown stains on it.
