Attractions and tips
Gambling is available in all casinos in Vegas, but there is more to the area than just slots and cards. The Freemont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas offers a light show in the evening, and for those brave enough, it is possible to zip-line through the lights!
A little bit further away from the lights and the busy city lays the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. With a 13-mile scenic drive and multiple hiking trails from which to choose, you can easily spend the day out in the open space.
The more expensive accommodations are found along the famous Las Vegas Strip, while budget travelers will find more affordable accommodations downtown.
While walking around in the evening, be sure to enjoy the free pirate show in front of Treasure Island, the Fountains of Bellagio and the volcano eruption in front of The Mirage.
