New York to Las Vegas flights depart from one of the three main airports serving the city—John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), or LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The three airports together rank as the world's second busiest in terms of passenger traffic. You can reach JFK from Manhattan in about an hour depending on your location. AirTrain JFK links JFK to New York proper, while MTA bus lines including Q3, Q6, Q7, Q10, and B15 provide affordable travel as well. Traveling to JFK from Manhattan on yellow cabs will cost you about $45. EWR is on the opposite side of Manhattan and is a main hub for United Airlines. AirTrain Newark has direct connection to EWR, or you could try to punch through Jersey City yourself to get there. LGA is the closest to New York City, just across the Triboro Bridge traveling east from Manhattan.
Your flight from New York to Las Vegas will touch-down at McCarran International Airport (LAS) in five or six hours. The airport is close to thethe Strip/Downtown area of the city. You can utilize RTC buses on Routes 108 and 109 to get to your hotels from the airport. You can find the RTC buses at Terminal 1 right outside the Zero level. The newly opened Terminal 3 has great choices to eat and drink (and to start the gambling off as soon your feet hit Las Vegan soil). Its proximity to the Strip means a taxi is not a huge financial decision. Driving in Vegas in style might important, so take a look at the rental car options available at LAS as well.
