"Really liked the easy unloading & checkin"

"We were surprised to read several bad reviews about this property, that was not our experience at all! The room was clean and very comfortable, with a balcony/patio and fireplace. All of staff were great. JJ in parking took good care of our car, the bellmen were super helpful and set up fires for us each night. There was only one occasion when the desk did not answer the phone right away. The restaurant was average and did not live up to the prices of the meals. The menu was limited and it was disappointing that they did not have soups of any kind. If you're looking to eat light, you may need to go elsewhere. The service at the restaurant was great but the orders were not always quite correct. Overall, this is a great place to stay and only a short walk to the plaza. "

"Perfect stay for us on Thanksgiving weekend with our dog. Very clean and spacious. Included breakfast much better than the usual included breakfast fare. Our first room near a walkway was a bit noisy, but staff was very accommodating to move us to a quiet room with an outdoor patio for our sweet Nellie dog. "

"This was our first stay at Inn of the Governors, but it won’t be our last: Easy to find, in and out of SantaFe. Easy off-street free parking, just 2 blocks from the plaza. Walking distance to central Santa Fe, the cathedral, museums, so many restaurants. Literally around the corner from James Beard winner Sazon. This hotel offered a warm, genuine welcome, an included cooked-to-order breakfast, comfortable, clean rustic New Mexican decor rooms, plus a lively pub on premises. And the price was right! We’ll be back!"

The staff were welcoming and warm, the breakfast and 5:30 kickback were enjoyable (and kid friendly), and the location in Santa Fe is very convenient and walkable. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next trip to Santa Fe!"
