The resort is really nice! The room was nice and clean the air conditioning worked great! Everything was really nice until the weekend came and a lot of people checked in, with people that didn’t respect anyone, with kids that were not nice. It was hard to get food, or drink. I wish I knew about the weekend being busy and I would had planned the swimming with dolphins or activities outside the resort those days

I'm not even sure where to begin. This was probably the worst resort I've been to. First thing is we got a room with a bunk bed for the kids. The room didn't have hot water so we started our time unintentionally having to shower our 1 and 3 year old in cold water. Then we discovered the back sliding door couldn't lock and the room was on the ground floor so anyone could get in. The final straw was my child was turning the light over the bunk bed and the entire light fixture came out of the wall exposing electrical wires. I couldn't risk the safety concerns so I walked all the way to the front desk and asked to change the room. I asked the speak with a manager and the guy at the front desk had such a dismissive sassy "oh you want a manager?" He understood the concerns were serious and gave us another room. That room has also hot water issues and the shower flooded quickly backing up into the room. Luckily that room has a second shower and that worked alright so we managed. The food was almost entirely poor. I would say I'm easy to please but you know it's bad when it's commentary of all the guests. The Japanese and Italian reservation only restaurants were enjoyable. The Mexican reservation restaurant was really bad, my veggies were still frozen and we heard the Brazilian steakhouse had a lot of sausage (like the buffet) and pork but no steak lol. You need to bring every mosquito repellant going!

My room was changed 3 times. The 1st one was covered in insects! ants and mosquitoes. The 2nd room was cleaner, or so I thought! I had already spend 10 nights in DR but that night I got 12 mosquito bites all over my body! It was awful. Never once got bitten in the other hotels I had stayed at previously. The staff were empathetic and ugraded me to the beach view room - it was 'better' (not to be ungrateful but I was in pain and itchy as hell) the food was okay I guess. Standard salt and pepper dishes with tabasco or siracha for flavour. Although Meat and fruit and vegetables were fresh. You wont go hungry but, I couldn't wait to get home and cook myself. Dirty pool. DR Staff were nice 👍

Pools and bars were enjoyable, staff was friendly all-around. Biggest complaint was the AC in the rooms. It was so humid and damp in the rooms that the sheets, clothes, and virtually everything was moist. This was so uncomfortable. The quality of food was dissapointing from the buffet to dinners. Chinese dinner was the best followed by japanese. Majority of buffet food was not enjoyable and dissapointing... overcooked, cold, unseasoned, etc..

We had a great experience! The staff was amazing and always so pleasant and helpful during our stay. We added a ro uograde upon arrival with an ocean view. The room was roomy with no issues. The good options were good. We will be back!

Hotel was pretty nice, staff it’s the best, the only a think needs improvement are the restaurants, the buffet on my first day was not good organized the food on the containers was not what the signs were showing and the same food repeated on different places around the buffet. There was not enough glasses so it takes me a while to get my drink.
