"This is a second time staying this hotel. While the building may be older, the inside and inside of the room has been very comfortable. The view from the run is excellent from both partial and full ocean view. Farmers market, bar, restaurant, ABC store, everything is in walking distance and feels safe to do so. Great place to stay"

"Gary and Sheri are wonderful hosts, and this home is an amazing place to stay when exploring the Big Island or just relaxing in Kailua-Kona! The home is clean, comfortable, and ideally located. It includes necessities such as the bedrooms, a wonderful living room, and fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer, and everything you need for a day at the beach- beach loungers, umbrellas, breach towels, and even a pail and shovel to make sand castles! The home has several gorgeous beaches nearby within 10 minutes drive. If you like exploring, you can get to any part of the Big Island within two hours, and half of the island within one. The only downside is that the home is located on a commonly-used road that regularly has traffic, but we didn't find it a problem. Don't miss this place!"
