"Kona Outrigger was a fantastic hotel. From check-in (shout out to Michael for setting everything up) to check out, the hotel delivered. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. You could tell that the hotel wasn't new, but it was keep very well and the grounds were beautiful. There were 2 pools, one for families and one for adults. The view were spectacular and we were also able to see the manta rays at night while we watched the snorkelers. Overall, it was a 10, and we would absolutely stay there again."

"1 block to ocean, very clean and cute and quiet. On Ali i drive, so easy to get into Kona. Microwave and fridge. Open air through screens so bird noise in the morning gets you up, but at a reasonable hour. And you want to get going anyway. Would stay here again. Good value "

"After reading many reviews I was slightly nervous about what we would get. We had a wonderful experience!! The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. What I liked most was that the facility was quiet. Everyone there was respectful, even in the pool where you would expect chaos. There is a market just up the street with everything you would need if you decided to cook in your unit. The BBQ's that were on site were great! I would definitely stay here again! It's just far enough from the main part of town but also close enough."

"Overall, our trip was relaxing. The facility was constructed in 1966. The disappointing aspect of our stay was the ongoing renovation of the property, and no mention of it taking place. Construction had the parking lot divided, and the sound of jackhammers and other concrete machinery reverberating through the cinderblock and concrete building was very annoying. We could not enter the pool from the front entry and had to walk around to a side gate. A main reason we selected the property was BECAUSE of the pool area pictures. The scaffolding was directly into the pool area, and the pool lounge chairs were pushed to the edge of the pavement. We did not use the pool or BBQ the area was congested or otherwise cordoned off. We would love to return to the unit and recommend it WHEN the construction is completed. "
