First night there the hotbtub was cold & did not work. Numerous guests besides myself reported it to the staff. 4 day i stayed & the tub still WAS NOT REPAIRED!!! Very disappointed with the lack of attention to maintain & keep guests happy. I paid alot of money to stay here for a convention & will let people know on social media to NOT STAY here. The property itself was lovley and would have been a great experience had we not had perhaps the most unhelpful person serve us at check in that i have ever experienced. She was unfriendly, gave no information about the hotel and was rude and inconvenienced when we asked queries, including wanting to know how we got to our room. We checked in around 5-6pm 17 sept and she appeared to be the most experienced person at the desk with others asking her for assistance. Bathrooms were uncomfortably small and one of our party had damp bed sheets

Sandy beach, ocean view, and shopping access was awesome! Luau was great! Billfish restaurant had amazing food. Hotel breakfast buffet was ok, food was not hot. Wouldn’t do buffet again. ABC store was convenient and had everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will stay again.

Loved our stay at the Marriot King Kamehameha Kona Beach. The staff was extremely warm and courteous. Any issues we had were handled quickly. The location was great. My only complains is that hotels.com uses a photo that shows a pool area that is not part of the property. That was a bit disappointing.

A Luxurious Stay with Hidden Costs The Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel offers a luxurious escape with its stunning pool deck, vibrant bar, and friendly staff. The spacious rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the hotel's common areas showcase beautiful artwork. Unfortunately, the mandatory $35 daily parking fee and $26 daily resort fee add significantly to the overall cost of a stay. These additional charges can quickly diminish the value of the luxurious experience. While the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel provides a wonderful setting, guests should be prepared to factor in these hidden costs when considering their stay.

I loved the location of the property, right next to the beach, and able to easily get in the ocean and walk on sand. the cultural center and all its activities and artwork and cultural displays makes this such a beautiful and educational resort. the dining with its wonderful, delicious and varied buffet with gorgeous views was a highlight. the bar area that served hawaiian style drinks and had its own fun menu made for fun times at the pool, jacuzzi or lazily sitting at the bar and talking. the convenience of the coffee spot with its breakfasts and pastries was amazing, as well as the shaved ice to stay cool, all very convenient and excellent. i loved how so many things were within walking distance. the highlight of the stay was the luau right on the premises overlooking the ocean. it was top notch. i am impressed, and thankful and you made my vacation special.

We booked this specifically because it is on the beach, sadly for us that beach was closed. Someone should have informed us that the hotel was hosting an international canoe competition the entire weekend. The beach inaccessible overrun with people & equipment, loudspeakers and announcements starting at 6 a.m. right in front of the extra money cost ocean view room we paid for. Services were full packed and busy. The entire weekend was CROWDED, and LOUD, no beach and pool full. It SUCKED!

Das Hotel ist an guter Lage, direkt am Meer und nahe von Restaurants und Läden. Das Hotel ist überaltert, hat dringenden Renovationsbedarf. Duschen in der Badewanne und alte "schmudlige" Teppiche in den Zimmern sind nicht mehr der Standard den man sich wünscht.

The pool and lagoon were fantastic for the kids. The hotel itself felt outdated, and the service was average. We enjoyed the Luau; the show was excellent, though the included drinks could use improvement. The food was delicious but ran out quickly, and there weren't many options. Parking was convenient if you have a car, and there are several local restaurants nearby.
