To my fellow travelers, this review is for you. To the Pacific 19 management, I don’t care if “you are sorry that I didn’t have a satisfactory stay” I been a Expedia user for over 10 years but this is my first review. I’m not that kind of person that would leave a nasty review just because I wasn’t happy about my stay. But this time, this time I was pushed too much by this hotel.
So let’s say something good first, the hotel has geckoes on the wall outside, my 3 year old kid loves them a lot. The hotels towels are soft. The bath water is hot. There ends the good stuff.
This hotel is pretending to be something they are not. They are not a Marriott, not even a Holiday Inn. But they pretend to be. There is no microwave, no kettle, no fridge to use. Well, there is a fridge in the room but they stuffed it full with cans of soft drinks and I could not use it , unless I empty it. They don’t do room service everyday and you had to ask for pool towels with a fee.
I was a return customer, and the staff woman with a fat lip frustrated me. In June I booked with Costco and this hotel gave me free parking, no one asked my car license number. This time in November, they asked for $25 a day. I asked why wasn’t there free parking? The front desk woman looked at me as if I was a street bum. At the end, I said that nevermind, I will park on the street. When I check out, they charged me 52 dollars for parking anyway, not 50, 52 dollars somehow. I have the receipt to prove it.
