My partner & I stayed for one night. It was a harrowing experience. Upon arrival the receptionist was very sweet and helpful, but said my room number aloud. Then, booking through Expedia, they claim that their checkout time is incorrect on other sites but were still sure to charge $10/extra hour after 11. This would be admissible if this was the only issue. The property itself was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The door connecting the lobby to rooms is brown, almost black from use. With accompanying pictures taken and saved to show evidence, the problems are as stated. Doors to the outer building are missing, leaving the buildings exposed to outsiders. Included red spills/splatters on the walls of the “closet”. Floor to ceiling rip on the wall nearest the bed. Pink mold in the corner of the bathroom behind the door, as well as pee dribble, & a GREY bathtub! An unkempt and unwashed coffee maker with hard water and stains, sitting bedside the sink. Where we were given two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner to use in the GREY shower. Water stain damage on the bathroom ceiling. Holes in the walls by the sink light fixture and smoke alarm. Tried to call to ask about checkout, phone didn’t work and said wrong room #. Filth and lack of property upkeep aside, the bed was not comfortable, actually worse than a dorm XL bed! This was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had with any hotel or inn and I cannot go back. Thank god I didn’t travel alone.
