"I enjoyed the retro vibe of the hotel and the staff, such as Zee, and the team at the registration desk were very efficient, accommodating and friendly! We asked for a room upgrade and were able to move in to a larger room which fit our needs perfectly. Hotel is adjacent to Lincoln Center, which is a great location in the city. Look forward to a future stay! Thank you, Empire Hotel!"

"I booked this hotel for a quick trip to the city and I was not disappointed! I read others reviews about the bathrooms, the long elevator waits, the rooms being small? We had the standard 1 King Bed room and it was HUGE for being a NYC hotel room? There was a hallway like area with the closest and the bathroom to your right when you walked in and it was huge! It was so roomy! I really recommend staying here! Ignore the reviews of everyone that has problems with minor hotel flaws. Maybe I just got lucky on room size, but when you stay in NYC, you should automatically assume the room is gonna be smaller"
