We booked a queen size bed. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood,it was th most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom door would not close, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. No ability to control the ac/heat in the room. we have stayed here before but this room was horrible.

In a state of disrepair. Tub floor was actually like walking on a waterbed. Water got underneath and when I brought it up to front desk, the employee mentioned that's an issue. He offered to send someone, but we weren't going to be available. Quite honestly, not sure that is something that could be done anyway. Cracked tile in tub and sink basin. Exposed electrical outlet that was not working. Thin comforter. There was some construction noise but that's a positive!

Checked in around 5:30, went to the assigned room, the room heating system was left on when entering. It was 91 degrees, trued to adjust temp and the thermostat would not function properly, when turning off it would continue to blow hot air. Went down to desk and alerted staff, they said they were notifying engineering to fix, waited another hour or so ,still no one, so went back down alerted desk again and said if this takes much longer please allow us another room, they.did not have any other rooms, they went to contact there manger to expidite the issues, and said engineering would be thete in 10 minutes, another hour later nothing, at this time we had reservations at 8pm for dinner, we finally had to leave but went down to the lobby to see what the issues were, met another staff member that we complained too and told him we were going to be late for reservations and the room issues and he took the info and said we will have tjis handled and your going to be ontiime for your dinner, we came back around 10:30, to find that engineering had gotten the unit to turn off but temp dropped to 79/78. So that wad pretty much the temp for the remaining evening, very stuffy and very stagnant air with no ac being able to be operated. Woke up litte before 6am and went to 77, tossed and turned, sweat all through sleep, It was a terrible experience and was not handled properly

This place is in desperate need of an upgrade. The phone was disconnected as was the smoke detector. The desk drawer was broken and the curtains were a mess. The water was hot, the bed was clean and the wifi was strong. I call for service and got no response more than once. Even though it is close to theatres which is why I come, I won't be coming back to this place again.

The hotel is under renovation, I believe we got an old room because we did not hook through the hotel, the room was not cleaned very well. The staff at the counter was great, the door men and woke lovely the bell men were wonderful all the front counter staff area were charming.

My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway to NYC. The location was ideal and the staff was very kind and helpful. The lobby is gorgeous but the rooms are in desperate need of a face lift. Wall paper was peeling off the walls, bed was very springy. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay here again.
