The facility is outdated, the entire hotel is kept so cold I had to have a jacket on all the time. The staff is not friendly they all look like they are not happy with their jobs. Service is poor no one offer to get you a drink, At the pool area after you get your own food and drink the staff walk up and down ignore the dirty plates and glasses. Entertainment is poor, the place is like a ghost town, no holiday theme. This was the worst RIU I stayed. I now realized not all RIU operates the same. I would never go back to RIU in Nassau Bahamas

Room was excellent ocean view and pool view spotlessly clean excellent we loved the shower enjoyed the breakfast lunch and dinner we ate mostly at the buffet nightly Which was great .Soups were good would had the chicken noodle soup every night but u had it only one night even thought o had the other soups nightly. Except fish The staff is excellent especially i enjoy seeing the older gentlemen been there since we started coming cant remeber his name but welcomes us like we are family when u opened we come everyyr same time and we come because of the service and staff We saw the reno the front wall down and we come back because of the people that work for u Thank u see u next yr

My travel agent has tried to connect with the hotel numerous times to come up with some type of resolution but conveniently the hotel does not answer their phone or respond to emails. We checked in on November 13, 2025. The condition of the hotel was disgusting. The smell of sewage was unbearable from the minute we walked in, the room was muggy and smelled of mold, smell in the room Was impossible. The alcohol tasted like gasoline, and the food was almost uneditable. We checked out of the hotel the same day in hopes of coming to some type of conclusion with our travel agent that they would be able to obtain some type of reimbursement for our four night stay. Again with no success, we were not going to stay at this hotel for the conditions that it was in we ended up checking out and headed to the Atlantis, which is a three minute walk And then we enjoyed our visit to Bahamas. I will never recommend this hotel extremely disappointed in the customer service.

They advertised for 24hr room service-- not true. They have an option to request and submit services online and thru the app but the requests are not honored in a timely manner. Overall the resort was ok for a quick weekend get away but wouldn't stay for longer than a couple days.
