"The Schooner Inn has never disappointed me. I've stayed there multiple times through the years as I make regular trips to VA Beach to visit family. I've stayed at other hotels, but Schooner is the best value. All the rooms have balconies and floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean, which to me, is the best feature of the rooms! There are a few hotels which are more modern and luxurious, but Schooner delivers the best value as its accommodations are very nice and the staff is great! I had one slight issue with the curtain, as it was difficult to maneuver, but a staff member came in a very short time and demonstrated how to finesse it. "
