Cheap flights from Columbus to Las Vegas
To get to Port Columbus International Airport (CMH), take the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), which offers routes from around the city.
Flights from CMH to McCarran International Airport (LAS) usually last for just over four hours. For a vacation in style, hire a limo or car from one of the companies that service LAS. For a less costly option, pick up a taxi at terminals 1 and 3.
Attractions and Tips
The most obvious way to pass your time in Vegas is gambling at one of the city’s many gleaming casinos. After you’re done at the roulette table, visit the many clubs on the Strip including LAX, Tabu and the Spearmint Rhino.
If you have kids in tow, dazzle them with a stop at the Shark Reef Aquarium, which features turtles, crocodiles and, as you would expect, many sharks.
If you plan to spend your vacation in the casinos, book accommodations on the Strip; if you prefer a more out-of-the-way and relaxing site, try North Las Vegas. North Las Vegas is in the Mojave Desert, outside of Las Vegas City limits and near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Temperatures vary in Las Vegas seasonally, with winters being in the cool 40s and summers being in the 90s to 100s.
