If you’re flying out of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and heading to Panama City, you’ll arrive at the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP). The ECP is the primary airport that serves the Panama City Beach area and South Walton Beach. A non-stop flight from Atlanta to Panama City is about one hour and ten minutes. The Panama City beaches comprise of 27 miles, and there are close to 100 beach access points. Some of the most popular beaches are Shell Island, St. Andrews State Park, Camp Helen State Park and Schooner.
Attractions
Panama City is home to a variety of fascinating attractions for all ages. Shipwreck Island Water Park, Miracle Strip Amusement Park and Gulf World Marine Park are among the popular outdoor parks in the area.
