First, I was disappointed to find that the pool was closed and there was no prior communication regarding its closure. We had to sit in our rooms because there was no other place available.
Moreover, our group was disturbed by a call from the front desk, followed shortly by a staff member knocking on our door. We were informed that there was a noise complaint from our room, and the staff member rudely told us that they could hear us in the hall.To clarify, we had booked three rooms, and we were all adults in our mid to late 50s, simply having conversation.
The following morning, we sought to speak with a manager about the incident, but the front desk agent informed us that there was no manager on duty as he was out on sick leave and they were unsure of his return. To our surprise, the same staff member from the previous night came out and identified herself as the supervisor. She offered no apology for the inconvenience and continued to speak with us in a dismissive manner. We felt completely disrespected and humiliated.
To make matters worse, I emailed the General Manager, Victor Nelson, two days ago, and I still haven't received a response. This lack of courtesy from higher management only mirrors the attitude of the line staff. As professionals in the hospitality industry, we understand the importance of high service standards. The treatment we received, however, made us feel unwelcome and even discriminated against.We will never stay here again. HORRIBLE SERVICE."
