Great place to stop on a long drive across west Texas. Was a little apprehensive about stopping in Van Horn because I thought of it as “the middle of nowhere.” The hotel was right off the exit, check in was simple and Nicole who was working the desk was pleasant and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the parking area is well illuminated. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It appears that the hotel is new or newer and the AC in the room was a welcoming ice cold. Got a text from staff member Nicole to make sure my room was good. Check out was quick and easy and the continental breakfast was also great. I’ll likely stay there on my drive back to San Diego

The hotel is updated & modern. Check in was a breeze. Elevator was out of order, and we were on the 2nd floor, so a minor inconvenience, but by no means a deal breaker. I’ll just make sure I reserve a room on the first floor next time! Continental breakfast was legit. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

High and dry in Texas
Well the Personnel working at the desk were friendly the hotel lobby had no air conditioning the room was on the first floor as elevators were not working as well as the pools were closed for maintenance. In addition to that the curtains would not roll up in the room to open her clothes. Also there's absolutely no food near the Hotel within walking distance.

This was a nice hotel to stay at, it had all the bathroom supplies you needed and the beds were comfortable. The only issue is since I had booked online I couldn't get a refund but we really wanted to use the swimming pool for the kids and it was shut down, that was the main reason we booked here. They should have that posted online.

When we got there the entire town had no power. Needless to say we had no aircon. The staff was amazing! Checked on us, made sure we had water and made us as comfortable as was possible. Other than the power issue stay was great. Again, the staff was amazing.
